B.C. invites Care and Build candidates in four targeted rounds

Four targeted Skills Immigration selections were published

• Care: Childcare — 182 invitations; minimum score 99; limited to early childhood educators.
• Care: Health — 143 invitations; minimum score 76; all priority health-care occupations.
• Care: Veterinary Care — fewer than five invitations; minimum score 90; all priority veterinary-care occupations, with an additional selection factor for NOC 32104 candidates requiring a valid professional designation.
• Build: Construction Trades — 104 invitations; minimum score 94; all priority construction occupations.

The published total cannot be stated as one exact number

The province published exact counts totalling 429 for childcare, health and construction, but reported the veterinary-care count only as fewer than five. Ghasedak therefore does not replace that suppressed figure with an estimate or present an invented exact total.

Each minimum score is a BC PNP registration score for the named targeted selection. It is not a federal Express Entry CRS score, and a score from one occupational group cannot be applied to another group.

An invitation starts the provincial application stage

Candidates also had to satisfy the occupation-specific selection factors and the applicable Skills Immigration stream requirements. The childcare selection was limited to early childhood educators, while the health and construction selections covered their respective published priority-occupation lists.

An invitation allows the selected registrant to apply to the BC PNP. The applicant must still submit a complete application on time and prove the job offer, occupation, wage, work experience, status and all other applicable eligibility requirements.
